Celebrated in the Tamil month of Aadi (July–August) at the Sri Sankaranarayana Swamy Temple, this is the district’s most renowned religious gathering. It commemorates Goddess Gomathi Amman’s penance to witness the unified darshan of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu as Sankaranarayana. The grand finale features divine processions, elaborate rituals, and devotees fulfilling vows from across the state.
