Tenkasi Kasi Viswanathar Temple Car Festival

Observed during the Tamil month of Masi (February–March) over a 10-day period, this festival honors Lord Kasi Viswanathar and Goddess Ulagamman. The centerpiece of the event is the pulling of the massive, ornately decorated wooden temple chariot (Ther) through the main streets of Tenkasi. It brings together thousands of devotees amidst Vedic chanting, traditional music, and colorful street fairs.
