The famous ‘Theppam’ (float) festival was celebrated with traditional rituals and grandeur at the historic Tenkasi Kasi Viswanathar Temple. Thousands of devotees from across the district gathered along the illuminated temple tank to witness the deities being taken in a vibrant float procession. Special pujas and aradhanas were performed by temple priests to mark the auspicious occasion. The district police department deployed adequate security personnel to manage traffic and crowd movement around temple premises.
