Arulmigu Sivasailanathar Paramakalyani Temple

Situated on the serene banks of the Gadana River, this 500-year-old temple is framed against the backdrop of the lush Velli and Podhigai hills. Dedicated to Lord Shiva (Sivasailanathar) and Goddess Paramakalyani, the presiding lingam is a Swayambhu (self-manifested) form. A distinct feature of the lingam is the depiction of hair braids at the back, visible during special aarthi rituals, earning the deity the name Sadaiappar. The temple boasts a grand five-tiered gopuram, monolithic stone carvings, and a massive sculpted Nandi. Its tranquil, nature-rich setting provides an exceptionally peaceful spiritual experience.
