Located right beside the roaring Courtallam Main Falls, this ancient shrine is deeply associated with Sage Agastya. The temple is home to the sacred Chitra Sabha (Hall of Pictures), one of the five cosmic dance halls of Lord Nataraja. Encased in a conch shell (Shankha) shape layout, the sanctum honors Lord Shiva as Thirukutralanathar and Goddess Kuzhalvai Mozhi Ammai. The surrounding herbal mist and cascading waters lend a unique tranquil atmosphere for spiritual meditation. It stands as a celebrated Paadal Petra Sthalam immortalized by Saivite Nayanars.
